ABOUT
Leah Bueno, DOMP, COMT, MMP
Before pursuing a career in healthcare, Leah Bueno worked as a professional dancer with The Sacramento Ballet, Inland Pacific Ballet, Don Arden's Jubillee, and Napoles Ballet. While dancing she suffered multiple injuries and her chronic pain symptoms ultimately ended her career.
Upon retiring from dance Leah became a dance educator for professional and pre-professional organizations. She originally became interested in Pilates as a way to help her students dance healthier. After completing her comprehensive certification from STOTT Pilates Leah fell in love with the clinical environment and decided to transition to working in Therapeutic Pilates specializing in the Performing Arts.

In 2018 Leah was accepted into the STOTT Pilates Instructor Trainer Program and became a faculty member for STOTT Pilates. While in Toronto Canada she developed an interest for traditional Osteopathy. Leah decided to receive her Degree in Osteopathy from the Osteopathic College of Ontario and has been trained in Orthopedic Manual Therapy from some of the top leaders in the field.
In addition to her clinical work she is passionate about helping the dance community work with dancers in safe ways. Leah has written several articles for Dance Magazine, has been interviewed about dance health nationally and internationally, and has developed programs for Dance Teachers to help bring science into the studio.
Leah's clientele includes dancers for some of the top companies throughout the world. However, she loves working with dancers and people of all ages and abilities. She believes that everyone's goals are important and it is never too late to be healthy enough to do what you love!
